Year in Review: Adirondacks & Upstate NY Weddings Adirondack Wedding Photographer

As I sit down to type this blog on fresh page day one of 2019 I reflect back on what an amazing year 2018 was. I’ve been rogue with blogging since early fall and it wasn’t for a lack of being lazy. This year was my busiest yet! It was a year of extreme growth, finding my editing style, taking the direction towards focusing on capturing mainly elopements and intimate weddings, creating a better client experience for my couples & families and the first of many transitions with my business.

In total I had 37 bookings this year all while making a move to the Southern Adirondacks, working full-time alongside my photography business and purchasing our first home! I shot at new to me venues such as Longview Lodge, Adirondack Camp, Golden Arrow Resort, Hotel Saranac, Smoke Signals, Spence Cabin and Lanzi’s just to name a few. I knocked an item off my bucket list and captured an elopement in the Great Smoky National Park in Tennessee. I helped secretly coordinate and watched one of my dear friends have a surprise proposal that any little girl dreams about on the shores of South Carolina. I traveled almost 10,000 miles between three states to capture love photographing a total of:

10 weddings

3 elopements

17 engagement/family sessions

2 business shoots

3 second shooting opportunities w/ Julia Rebecca Photography and Nicole Wren Photography

2 Styled Shoots

Looking back picking my top photos to share in this post had me tearing up. I am so thankful and blessed to have worked with such wonderful couples and families who entrusted me with their big day and their memories. A shout out to my fellow wedding vendors, specifically the Adirondack Wedding Vendor world, y’all rock!! We did it, another season down filled with continued fun and friendship! I am forever grateful for each and everyone of you! If this is any outlook on how 2019 will play out I’m bursting at the seams with excitement. I hope you enjoy my highlight reel, if it was up to me and if space allowed I would share every photo from this year because I am just so thrilled with both my personal and business growth!!

Like what you see and want to adventure with me in 2019? Get in touch with yo girl and let’s do this :)
